Went shopping with my mom this afternoon.
Shopping for toys.
She wanted to check out the exercise bikes at Sears. I don't think she has room for one though. I put that one on facebook, so go check it out there. ...
So everyone else is blogging this, so fuck it, I might as well too.
My friend Raymi in Toronto has a very unique, and often copied, blog. So tonight, after getting a bit tipsy, I attempted to recreate some of her brilliance myself.
The end result is a funny parody, complete with drunk dancing by myself. You can check it out at duanetheminx.com.
Thanks to Keira for helping me put the header together. Clearly I need massive help. ...
Someone convinced me last time I was at the bar to start posting the best of my cell phone text messages to my flickr account. So without further ado.
Yup, that's a mistake I'm not likely to make again.
If anyone has any wicked ones as well, let me know. Maybe we can start a cool Flickr group. ...
From slashdot.
Also, Rebecca just texted me -- their luggage was lost :( I told her it would happen -- it's basically a given if you bounce through O'Hare. ...
Here's a shot I took in Raymi's bathroom out in Toronto. I'm going to be setting up duanetheminx.com soon, so check back soon.
Clearly I rock the mirror shots. ...

And Rebecca for the second one here.
Both of these make me laugh. ...
So it's not very often something can make me bust out loud laughing, but this did the trick. I'm a closet Star Trek nerd, and used to sit around and watch episodes with my dad growing up. One of my favorites is when Kirk takes sand and rocks and shit and blows up that Godzilla looking guy on that weird planet. He's that good.
I found this photo on Christie's facebook page, and she told me it was cool to blog it. This thing still cracks me up every time I see it.
** Update, the green Godzilla looking thing is a Gorn. Thanks guys. ...
You thought this day would never come, didn't you Air Canada? All your posturing, your laughing. You may not remember us, but we sure remember you. Oh yes, we haven't forgotten the night we had together, have we precious?
We remember landing in Toronto, coming back from a brief trip to Boston, so anxious to finally get into our own bed in Vancouver and fall asleep later that night. And dream. Yes, we dreamed once. Of fields and sunshine. But it took that from us. Yes, took it from us they did, my precious.
Upon arriving in Toronto, one of its minions came forth, only to announce that our flight ...
So last night I headed down to the Alibi room for Keri's 29th birthday party. I got the official invite via a myspace bulletin a while ago, and slotted it into my calender. The piece I apparently forgot I guess was the "RSVP via Email" thing at the bottom. So tonight, I got all dolled up, and headed down there for 10pm. Only problem was nobody else was there.. So, I got myself a drink, and waited. After an hour I realized there were a few holes in my original plan.. Unfortunatley, my cell phone was recently fixed, and I don't have many numbers in there yet, so I had no way to contact ...
