media burner plugin

Media burner automatically extracts media files (MP3, FLV, YouTube, etc) from your blog posts and creates a site-wide player.

It does this automatically by filtering post content on the fly.

The following is a sample of the media burner in action.

Usage

The plugin actually only makes an XML playlist based or your content, so conceivably you could play it in whatever player you wanted. However, I wanted to make this work out of the box, so you can simply insert the following to get something going:

Coming Soon

The XML playlist generation is a bit slow, so if your blog is huge it may take a long time to generate. I’ll add caching to it in the next version I hope. If you like the plugin, please write a blog entry about it and tell your friends.
