My dryer at home basically stopped working a few weeks ago, so I’ve been rotating ever-so-slowly through my wardrobe. My landlord was going to come by and take a look at it, but I don’t think he’s been feeling very well lately. So anyways, considering I’m out of clean clothes and I’m out of clean sheets, I decided to take care of it today. So I’m working from home, waiting for a repair guy to come by and fix it up.
While I’m at it, I’m going to rant about people who play the lottery. I got no problem that you want to play 6-49 all day, but please make some decisions before you get to the counter. It seems like all I do lately is wait for people to decide whether or not they want the Extra, as if it was some monumental decision that will affect their future lives.
** update - the dryer is kaput. Needs to be replaced. Going to go buy new clothes tomorrow I guess.

Hmmm, tax for the stupid?
Good luck with the dryer, mang …
I went through maybe 4 months without a dryer because it just wasn’t drying. I was too lazy to really find out what was wrong. When I did, there wasn’t anything wrong with the dryer, but that the duct might have been blocked (bird’s nests, yes, plural). Called a company that cleans vents. They used a high pressure hose and managed to blow out a relatively large chunk of bird’s nest. After that, the dryer worked just peachy fine! :)
Eva is correct. Have had the same problems, bird’s nest or even excess lint before. hey is there no laundry near you? Seems cheaper than buying new cloths. Or,go buy a new dryer, take it when you leave. if your next place doesn’t need one, sell it to me for cheap, i am always looking for appliances for my suites lol. Buy energy star you can mail in to BC Hydo get $150 back.
Hehe, you make me giggle Duane. Buy one of those stands for hanging clothes on to dry? Probably cheaper then buying new clothes!
