I’m not going to write too much about the concert tonight since I wrote an entry over on matthewgood.org about it. But it was a lot of fun, and it was great to see Matt off on the first show of his tour. Not only was the concert really fantastic (thanks to the long set Matt put in, as well as Courtney Jones, who put on a great opening set). The crowd was really receptive, and I think Matt’s got a great two weeks ahead of him.
Here are a few shots from the show:

I have a few movies to from the show, but the internet connection in the hotel sucks complete ass so I’ll have to wait a bit.
Here’s also a video of Matt that John Bollwitt shot (I’ll sort these out and cross post them in the morning — just too tired right now).
If anyone wants to see any more photos, head on over to my Flickr set.

Looks like the crowd was really into it! Can’t wait to see him in Buffalo :)
Thanks for posting this!
Awesome photos, Duane…thanks for sharing them (the video was rad too!)
I was less impressed with the opening act than you were. As for the crowd it was okay. I really am tired of people shouting out “Play Timebomb” though entire shows. Also the people behind you and John were completely annoying on every level.
Yah I read your review on Metblogs. I liked Courtney, but that’s not the genre of music I typically am exposed, so it was a nice change for me.
